The Sentricon® Termite Colony Elimination System provides maximum termite protection with minimum environmental impact. No other termite remedy option comes close to this highly efficient system.

A GREEN APPROACH TO TERMITE CONTROL

RECIPIENT OF THE

PRESIDENTIAL

GREEN CHEMISTRY

CHALLENGE AWARD

In the year 2000, the Sentricon® System became the first termite treatment product to receive the highly coveted Presidential Green Chemistry Challenge Award, which is a top environmental honor from the U.S. government presented by the Environmental Protection Agency. This prestigious award recognizes technical innovation incorporating “green” chemistry principles into chemical design, manufacturing and use.

The Sentricon® System won this award because of the revolutionary technology that successfully eliminates termite colonies with small amounts of its active ingredient applied in a targeted manner.

The Sentricon® System Works Silently

  • No drilling in floors and foundations
  • No digging or trenching
  • No chemical solution injected into the ground under and around a building
  • No tank trucks of chemical solution
  • No scheduling hassles

Always on Guard

Managing your assets is easy when you have the Sentricon® System. Its ongoing monitoring specialty means that an authorized operator regularly checks stations for termite activity. This is because activity in stations is often seen long after the initial colony has been eliminated. The Sentricon® System can then be used to eliminate the new colony before termites reach the building

Environmentally Responsible

The Sentricon® System was developed keeping the environment in mind. Contrary to conventional liquid treatments, which use hundreds of gallons of chemical solution, the Sentricon® System uses only a few grams of the active ingredient when and where needed. The Sentricon® System was registered by the EPA under the Reduced Risk Pesticide Initiative. It is the only termite control product ever to earn the highly coveted Presidential Green Chemistry Challenge Award.

THE REDUCED RISK PESTICIDE INITIATIVE

In 1994, Recruit™, the trade name for the active ingredient in the Sentricon® System, was the first product registered under the Environmental Protection Agency’s Reduced Risk Pesticide Initiative. The product contains an insect growth regulator that hinders the molting process required by termites to grow. Recruit™ is very specific to termites and has no impact on non-target organisms.

RECRUIT™ HD TERMITE BAIT IS DELIVERED IMMEDIATELY

Recruit™ HD termite bait is a highly durable bait that is placed in all stations around a structure. Because Recruit HD termite bait is available as soon as termites enter a station, it can be consumed and shared by termites immediately, starting the colony elimination process without delay. When service is maintained, Recruit HD termite bait remains in all stations all the time and is continuously available to achieve colony elimination and protect against future infestations.

COMPLETE PEACE OF MIND

The Sentricon® System not only guards the environment we all care about, but also protects your property in the long run. Once the current termite colony is eliminated, the Sentricon® System stays on duty to protect your home from new colonies that may attempt to penetrate the area.

Termite Control Options

Robertson’s Termite and Pest Control offers termite control options, including the Sentricon® Colony Elimination System Corteva AgriScience, Liquid Treatments including spot- treatments and pre-construction treatment.

Liquid Treatment

Robertson’s has the tools and knowledge to perform liquid treatments.  This process is creates a barrier in the soil which kills termites as they pass through.  Though this had been the standard go to treatment for many years, before the advent of the bait system, there are a few draw backs.

  1. Chemical breaks down over time.  The chemical is strong the first year or two but almost gone after 5 and non-existent after 10, which allows termites to penetrate the barrier and feed on your home.
  2. Drilling and trenching around the foundation of your home can be inconvenient and possibly cause damage to your home or landscape.
